DualCam is a privacy-first iOS camera app. We do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal information. All recordings stay on your device unless you choose to share them.

Information We Do Not Collect

DualCam does not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not run analytics, tracking SDKs, advertising identifiers, or third-party trackers. We have no servers that receive your data.

• No email, name, or phone number requested
• No location tracking
• No advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs that transmit personal data

On-Device Permissions

DualCam requests the following iOS permissions, used strictly on your device:

• Camera: Required to record video from the front and back cameras simultaneously.
• Microphone: Required to capture audio with your recordings.
• Photo Library (Add-Only): Required only when you choose to save a recording to your Photos library.

These permissions are optional. You can revoke them anytime in iOS Settings → DualCam.

Your Recordings

Videos you record with DualCam are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. We do not upload, back up, or process your recordings. When you share a video through the iOS share sheet, the destination app (Photos, Messages, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) handles the file according to its own privacy policy.

Face Data

Dualcam does not collect, detect, recognize, track, or store face data in any form. The app uses the device camera solely for video recording purposes. No facial recognition, face detection, facial geometry mapping, or biometric processing is performed at any point. All recorded video content is saved directly to your device's Photo Library and is never analyzed, scanned, or transmitted by the app.
